Welcome

PRIDE Academy feels like home. I cherish the teachers, students, and parents at PRIDE and am excited to work with an amazing team that builds an environment where all children can thrive. At PRIDE Academy, we make it our priority to provide students with a purposeful, rigorous, innovative, dynamic education. Furthermore, our staff is committed to modeling, teaching, and practicing our core values of kindness, respect, and problem solving. We believe that all students belong and that your child matters.

Santee School District is committed to the academic and social success of all students. To support this effort, Superintendent Dr. Baranski and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Paisley are committed to having principals and vice principals in classrooms on a daily basis.

As a result of being in classes, I may not always be immediately available to you; however, your communication is important to me. I will be more than happy to meet with you about an issue or concern about your child, but I respectfully request that you meet with your child's teacher before you meet with me. Often times, after a parent has communicated with the classroom teacher, the issue or concern can be resolved. If the issue is concerning a staff member or another parent, I ask that you communicate with our school's administrative team directly. Do not handle an issue on your own by approaching another parent or student.

You can make an appointment with me through our school secretary, Lupe Brambila, in the school office or email me with your questions or concerns at [email protected]. I will respond to you within 24 hours of receiving your email message.

I am here to support you, your family, your child/children, and our PRIDE Academy community. Please reach out to me if you have a question or concern. I look forward to working with you as a partner in your child's education.
