Welcome to the Resource Room! 

In the resource room, my instructional assistant and I provide specialized academic instruction to students with Individualized Education Plans or IEPs. 

My name is Jera Fusi. I have been teaching as a Resource Teacher for the past 16 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies along with my Mild/Moderate teaching credential from San Diego State University in Calexico, CA. I began my teaching career working for a small school district in Holtville, CA, where I had the opportunity to work with elementary, middle, and high school students. When I moved to San Diego, I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with a specialization in Special Education from National University. I have been a teacher at PRIDE Academy for the past 10 years. 

Cheryl Grady is my instructional assistant. She has been teaching as an instructional assistant in the Santee School District for the past 20 years. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from San Diego State University in San Diego. Mrs. Grady has been an instructional assistant at PRIDE Academy for the past 11 years.
