PRIDE Academy’s School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) focuses on improving academic performance for all students as part of a Schoolwide Title 1 program. We prioritize professional development for teachers, with a focus on Learning Intentions, NGSS concepts, PBIS, and collaborative planning. Our approach includes addressing social-emotional needs through the Second Step Curriculum, community circles, and a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for students facing academic or behavioral challenges. An Attendance Team works to reduce chronic absenteeism, while students in grades 6-8 have opportunities for extracurricular activities. The SPSA supports a safe, connected school environment for all students.
